Members of Greater Manchester s Jewish community are being urged to be careful as they prepare to celebrate the festival of Purim this weekend.
The annual holiday, which runs from Thursday evening (February 25) to Friday evening (February 26), remembers the foiling of a plot to massacre Jewish people in ancient Persia 2,500 years ago. ....
