THE team at an estate agents in Moreton-in-Marsh have teamed up with the children at a local primary school for their annual Easter art competition. The annual Easter competition encourages local youngsters from St Davids School in Moreton-in-Marsh to join the team at the estate agents Hayman-Joyce in a creative and fun activity. This year the theme is to decorate an Easter basket in whichever way the youngsters would like. Partner, Tom Hayman-Joyce, said: “The team are delighted to be running our annual Easter art competition with St. David’s Primary School again this year. “It’s always a winning event with the local youngsters and this year there’s a giant Easter Egg up for grabs.”

It is a global view that primary school is the foundation of any child’s education as proper development of a child at that level prepares the child to cope brilliantly with the challenges of further education.
In Oyo State, there are about 2,000 public primary schools spread across the 33 local government areas of the state, but it saddens one’s heart that most of these schools are in a dilapidated condition.
This factor, if not given the desired attention, could promote truancy among school-age children if well-meaning Nigerians fail to assist the government in the running of schools in the state.
