There has not been a more dominant horse at the 2021 Plainridge Park meet than Eurobond who on Saturday (July 10) scored another easy victory in the $25,000 Open Handicap Trot to run his winning streak to four. Despite being handicapped with post 8, Eurobond left the gate, took the front and led the race every step of the way. While maintaining a roughly 1 1/2-length lead for most of the mile, Eurobond cut fractions of :28.1, :57 and 1:24.4 before heading into the last turn. When they hit the top of the stretch, Eurobond trotted away under no urging whatsoever and won by three lengths at the beam in 1:53.1. ....
