Investegate |Nightcap PLC Announcements | Nightcap PLC: Share sales and holding(s) in Company

On 12 May 2021, Nightcap announced that it had conditionally raised a total of £10.0 million by way of a placing (the "Placing") of new ordinary shares of 1p each ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 23p per share (the "Placing Price").  The Placing, which comprises two tranches, was significantly over-subscribed due to strong investor demand.  As a result of this demand, Nightcap and its broker, Allenby Capital Limited, sought to satisfy the further investor interest via arranging for certain of the Company's significant shareholders to sell some Ordinary Shares.
As a consequence, the Company was notified on 13 May 2021 that Raymond Blanc has sold 4,347,826 Ordinary Shares and David Moore has sold 2,350,000 Ordinary Shares.  All of these Ordinary Shares were sold at 23p per share, being equivalent to the Placing Price. All of Raymond Blanc's sales occurred on 12 May 2021.  David Moore sold 2,300,000 Ordinary Shares on 12 May 2021 and 50,000 Ordinary Shares on 13 May 2021.

Has Adventure Bar been bought?

Recently formed hospitality group Nightcap has completed its second purchase by acquiring the owner of brands including Blame Gloria and Tonight Josephine, Adventure Bar Group.
The deal, completed for an undisclosed sum, means Adventure founders Thomas Kidd and Tobias Jackson will continue to work within the business as Nightcap pushes its growth from nine sites up to 40 in cities nationwide.
Of Adventure Bar's sites across the capital, all but two (Jimi Loves Gloria in Soho and the Lost Alhambra in Leicester Square) will not form part of the transaction.
Nightcap was founded by ex-Dragon’s Den investor Sarah Willingham and Michael Toxvaerd and bought London Cocktail Club’s bar portfolio in January 2021, which coincided with the hospitality group’s listing on AIM market.
