MEMBERS of the 1st Norton Scouts are taking place in a sponsored walk this weekend. The scout group is walking 6km on Sunday to raise funds to support the reopening of the group and also the Tom Parsons Trust. A spokesperson from 1st Norton Scouts said: The scout group has been closed throughout the COVID pandemic and has recently reopened to provide activities for young people. The group has recognised that some of their families have been financially affected by the pandemic and have paid the annual insurance fees on behalf of their members. The fundraising will support the costs of the insurance and also help to support our partner charity for this year the Tom Parsons Trust ....
