Sometimes good things really do come in small packages.
Take for example the Missions Café on Third Street in Dover, owned by one of a number of young local entrepreneurs who believe that helping others is the most important part of their job. Owner, Renee McClelland, is a shining example of that kind of spiritually led business in this area.
“When I was growing up, I was that typical teen who thought I was bored with church,” McClelland said. “I rebelled against going with my mother, and took a restaurant job that required me to work on Sundays.”
After graduating from Dover High School in 1998, it took the now 41-year-old a few years, a marriage and children, to see that was not the way life was intended to go. ....

That may come as a surprise to the many people who know him as a choir director, or a teacher, or a principal, or assistant superintendent or part of the Moravian Music Foundation or a farmer who rides horses and raises goats, or a devoted family man, but that’s what’s mainly on Randy’s mind today.
Born at Union Hospital to Gerald and Lola Beahm Gibbs, 69-year-old G Randall Gibbs grew up on the edge of town, surrounded by farm country. His father owned companies that mined coal and and provided equipment for the building of state highways. His mother, taught Sunday School, and his grandmother, Bernice Gibbs, played the piano at church while he sat beside her on the bench. ....
