スプリンクラー初稼働／伊良部島で散水始まる ｜ 宮古毎日新聞社ホームページ -宮古島の最新ニュースが満載！-

　地下ダムからくみ上げられた農業用水のスプリンクラーによる散水が２日、伊良部島で始まった。同日、市伊良部長浜の魚口地区で散水式が行われ、農業関係者が集まり、農業振興に期待を寄せた。伊良部島では給水施設（Ⅲ型）が１カ所整備されていたが、スプリンクラー（Ⅰ型）による農地への散水は初めて。
　伊良部島への農業用水は仲原地下ダムから上野野原の宮古吐水槽、伊良部大橋を経由して牧山ファームポンドに送られる。散水が始まったのはほ場整備事業が進む魚口地区（59ヘクタール）のうち、かんがい施設が整備された６・４ヘクタール。順次、拡大していく。
　座喜味一幸市長は「地下ダム事業は宮古の経済の大きな基盤となり、農業も大きく展開している。伊良部島に年間を通し安定して水が供給され� ....

City Water Division Offers Update on Bill and Meter Readings
The City of Lake Charles had widespread hurricane damage to its infrastructure and business buildings. The city s Water Business Office (located at 1155 Ryan Street) suffered substantial loss of meter-reading equipment. Like everyone else, recovery has been difficult. The water division uses contract workers to take readings for more than 33,000 meters citywide, and staffing is limited. As a result, some customers may have received a water bill that s higher than normal. This is more than likely because as many water bills are still being estimated.
If you feel there is an error with your bill balance, or have account questions call 337-491-1307 for help and possible adjustments. If customers were overcharged, ounce all meters have been read, the extra usage charges will be automatically credited. ....
