The Heart of the Community Awards was organised by NISA as part of their ‘making a difference locally’ to allow their retailers to nominate local charities to win a donation from a massive £150,000.00 pot of funding. 
 
 
In November 2020, Fiveways Supermarket received confirmation that their nomination had been a success for funding and that local suicide prevention charity PIPS Hope and Support was to receive an incredible £5,000 to assist the charity in providing fundamental support to the community. 
On Tuesday 22 December, Fiveways Supermarkets Yvonne Carr and Mr Hagan presented the £5,000.00 award to PIPS Hope and Supports fundraising coordinator, Padraig Harte.
