Sheffield school confirms two Covid cases in year group on first day back
Silverdale School in Sheffield has confirmed that it has had to send home a group of pupils after two positive Covid cases were identified during testing.

All Year 7 pupils at Silverdale were due to return to face to face lessons today (March 11) for the first time since the third lockdown kept all schools closed after the Christmas holidays.
Yesterday the year group were all given a lateral flow test before being sent home, ready to come to school the next day.
However, as part of the testing process, positive cases were identified, meaning a small section of the cohort due to start today were instead told to remain at home for ten days. ....
