JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - St. Bernards Medical Center and NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital both are combating coronavirus by offering monoclonal antibody infusions.
Both hospitals have administered 400 or more antibody infusions as of Thursday.
Most of the positive COVID-19 patients who choose this route avoid entering the hospital.
St. Bernards has seen a readmission rate of 0.03 percent. NEA Baptist has seen zero readmitted after their infusion.
NEA Baptist Chief Operating Officer Melanie Edens considers the antibody infusions one of the most exciting treatments since the pandemic began. ....
