Qureshi discusses regional issues with Chairman of US House Foreign Affairs Committee Gregory Weldon

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi held a discussion with the Chairman Foreign Affairs Committee of the US House of Representatives Gregory Weldon Meeks on Thursday via video link.
During the conversation, they exchanged views on Pakistan-US bilateral relations, the rising trend of Islamophobia, and important regional and global issues.
In his remarks, Qureshi said that Pakistan and the United States have a long-standing bilateral relationship, and have similar views on peace in the region.
The foreign minister said that Pakistan is desirous of peace in the region including in Afghanistan. ....
