Officials with the City of York say the next round of live music in their summer concert series, to be enjoyed al fresco, is scheduled for Thursday, June 24th at Downtown York’s City Market. Officials say the Late Night Special band will play a medley of pop, rock, and classical soul at the summer concert on June 24th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The King of Fire food truck will be on site selling authentic wood fired pizzas made from scratch, Mr. Smiley’s Italian Ice will be selling a variety of dairy-free, fat-free, and gluten-free treats, and the Grapevine Wine Shop will be selling wine and beer, according to a news release. ....

To start, Charlotte s City Manager Marcus Jones revealed his budget for the upcoming year. From cutting hair in his father s salon and slinging hot dogs to Scott Avett to now leading the Southern roots rock band Late Night Special and hosting the annual Shakedown Music Festival featuring regional musicians, Fred Lee IV has some musical stories to tell. “Our music flirts with almost a country or folk sound because the roots of the region definitely flow through us and the music.” ....
Baby Blue, member of R&B/hip-hop group Pretty Ricky and cast member on Love & Hip Hop: Miami, has reportedly been shot by two armed robbers outside a bowling alley in Florida and is in critical condition. Sources connected with the artist born Diamond Blue Smith told the Shade Room he was injured in the shooting around midnight at SpareZ Bowling Alley in Davie, Florida on Monday. TMZ also reported the news, citing law enforcement. Before the shooting, two unknown suspects reportedly approached two victims, one of them being Blue, in the parking lot. This led to an altercation and a robbery of a gold chain necklace, according to the Davie Police Department. One suspect then fired and hit a victim in a shoulder, before they were transported to a hospital in critical condition. ....
Miami, FL – Pretty Ricky rapper Baby Blue was reportedly shot in Miami, Florida on Wednesday morning (April 21). According to Hollywood Unlocked, Baby Blue was approached by two armed robbers while at a local bowling alley. His team says he’s currently in critical condition at a local hospital where doctors are attempting to save his life. The incident took place at Sparez Bowling Alley where Baby Blue was hosting a release party for his new single “Jerry Rice.” In an Instagram DM from his team, it’s suggested Baby Blue put a stop to the attempted robbery but was wounded in the process. ....
