KARACHI: Presiding over a meeting of the Provincial Coordination & Implementation Committee (PCIC), Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Friday decided to allot 47 plots to affected residents of an anti-encroachment drive in District Central of the city and directed the provincial transport department to complete the Orange Line Bus Rapid Transit Service (BRT) by August.
He also issued directives to expedite work on the Karachi Circular Railway (KCR).

Centre asked to resolve issue of three Karachi hospitals, says Murad - Newspaper


KARACHI: Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Thursday said that he had taken up the issues of three hospitals of Karachi JPMC, NICVD and NICH at the Council of Common Interests (CCI) meeting and the prime minister had directed his special assistant on health to resolve the matter because “the provincial government is running them properly”.
He was speaking to journalists after inaugurating three Landhi industrial area roads.
Responding to a question, the chief minister said that he had raised two important issues at the CCI meeting held in Islamabad under Prime Minister Imran Khan on April 7. The first and foremost issue was of three hospitals of Karachi: JPMC, NICVD and NICH. ....
