Quarantine challenges prompt Harbor Beach high school to go remote

Harbor Beach High School transitioned to remote learning March 16 due to multiple positive coronavirus cases.
I have made the very difficult decision to move Harbor Beach High School to virtual classes beginning Tuesday, Superintendent Shawn Bishop said. This is directly related to the number of COVID positive cases and related number of quarantines.
Bishop has been an outspoken proponent for in-person learning, but recently told the Tribune that due to the continuing teacher and substitute teacher shortages, quarantine situations compound staffing challenges.
