All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has called on those clamouring for secession to jettison such an idea.
Speaking at the Special Ramadan Prayer Tafsir (Lecture) for Lagos State and Nigeria, held at the Lagos House, Marina on Sunday, Mr Tinubu said the country was better together than seperated.
He said the war drums some people were beating would result in the disintegration of the country like Sudan and Iraq.
According to him, Nigeria is yet to recover from the effect of the civil war, hence, cannot afford to experience another war.
”For clamouring for war, God will not allow Nigeria to experience war. If we say Nigeria should seperate, people should remember what war caused in Sudan and Iraq. Such war does not end on time. We are yet to recover from the civil war. ....

Following the staging of a successful seminar for women, the Lagos State Judo Association is aiming to bring in more females to take up the sport for self-defence in the state.
Speaking at the one-day seminar organised by LSJA, in collaboration with Tinubu Support Organisation, at the Mobolaji Johnson Sports Complex, Rowe Park, LSJA chairman, Sheriff Hammed, said the aim of the seminar was to involve more women, in their efforts to popularise the sport.
“This seminar is part of our efforts to revive judo in Lagos and we are using the seminar and judo exhibition to create awareness about violence and sexual harassment against women because of what is happening around the society,” Hammed said. ....

The Lagos State Judo Association (LSJA) is organizing a one-day seminar cum enlightenment programme for female youths in the state as part of efforts to popularize the sport.
According to the chairman of LSJA, Sheriff Hammed, the essence of the seminar is aimed at promoting self-defense among females in the state.
“With the spate of rape, robbery, kidnappings, and general violence against women, the Lagos State Judo Association has partnered with the Tinubu Support Organisation (TSO) Lagos Chapter to raise awareness of rape in our society and promote self-defense amongst the youth by engaging them in judo. ....
