Turkey: State Ceremony Held For Martyrs From Crash
State, military funerals held for 11 soldiers martyred in helicopter crash.
The 11 Turkish soldiers martyred by a helicopter crash were honored by state and military funeral services on Friday.
Besides the martyred soldiers, including one corps commander, two other soldiers were injured when a military helicopter crashed in the eastern Bitlis province on Thursday.
Contact with the Cougar type military helicopter, which took off from Bingol for Tatvan district of Bitlis at 1.55 p.m. local time (1055GMT), was lost at 2.25 p.m. (1125GMT).

A member of the Shia extremist militia of Houthis has said that Marib, the embattled government-held province, “must be liberated even if sacrifice a million martyrs.”
Abdusalam Jahaf a member of the theocratic militia’s supremacist Hashemite dynasty said in a tweet, “Marib must be liberated even if sacrifice a million martyrs… it must be liberated no matter the losses.”
The militia, a Shiit version of Daesh, has been launching a pyrrhic war since March 2015 and brought Yemen to collapse in order to establish a theocratic state amidst an international ignorance of the militia’s theocratic purpose, and collusion with it to expand and rule. ....

Japan has paid tribute to the people of Bangladesh who sacrificed their lives to preserve their own language, Bengali.
In a video message on the occasion of the International Mother Language Day, Ambassador of Japan to Bangladesh ITO Naoki said he is glad to observe the International Mother Language Day from Bangladesh, where this celebration has its origin.
Since the language movement eventually led to the independence of Bangladesh, he said it is very special to share the celebration this year, the 50th anniversary
of the independence of Bangladesh.
“On behalf of the people of Japan, I would like to pay my heartfelt tribute to the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives almost 60 years ago, to preserve their own language, Bengali,” he added. ....
