All or part of the interstate was closed for about two hours Monday night near Lafayette.

TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. A semi fire caused traffic delays on Interstate 65 near Lafayette Monday night.
According to state police, the fire occurred in the northbound lanes of the interstate at the 178 mile marker around 8:30 p.m. 
Traffic on I-65 was diverted off the interstate onto SR 43, north to SR 18. The detour then took drivers west on SR 18 to get back onto I-65 at the 188 mile marker.
