SOUTHBURY – Patricia “Patty” Richards, 66, departed this life on Feb. 22, 2021, at The Watermark at East Hill. She was the beloved wife of Timothy (Tim) Richards, and the beloved mother of her daughters Jenna and Chelsea.
Patty was born in Webster City, Iowa, on Feb. 24, 1954, to the late James and Doris (Krueger) Laughlin. Patty was the choir accompanist and music director at Sacred Heart Church for the past 25 years, a role that brought her such joy and purpose.
Patty started her music ministry in Webster City, Iowa, at the young age of 16, a role she fit so perfectly. Patty shared her humble yet incredible talents in every aspect of her music ministry. This gift of love to her church, her parish and her community will forever remain in the hearts of all whose lives she touched. ....
