A Louisiana native designed a part of now Vice President Kamala Harris outfit for Wednesday s inauguration.
Baton Rouge native Christopher John Rogers designed the purple suit and coat worn by Harris on January 20, according to The Advocate. Her shoes were made by South Carolina native Sergio Hudson.
The first Black and South Asian woman to be elected vice president, Harris has made it a point to wear clothes made by Black designers during events leading up to Inauguration Day. ....
