Three bodies were found along the San Mateo County coast across three consecutive days spanning July 2 to 4, the San Mateo County Sheriff s Office said.
The incidents aren t connected and there were no signs of foul play, said Lt. Eamonn Allen with the sheriff s office.
It s possible all three incidents were drownings, Allen noted.
The first body was found July 2 at San Gregorio State Beach by a State Parks employee and was identified by the coroner s office as 36-year-old Stockton man Florentino Pasco. Eight days prior on June 24, the sheriff s office received a report of a distressed man in the water at Tunitas Creek Beach, the sheriff s office said. When officers arrived, they spoke with Pasco s friend ....

Body washes ashore at San Gregorio Beach


A body washed ashore around noontime on Friday at San Gregorio Beach that officials say may be Florentino Suan Pasco Jr., the Stockton man who disappeared into the surf last week at Tunitas Creek Beach. 
San Mateo County Sheriff s Office spokesperson Lt. Eamonn Allen said detectives are on their way to the scene to identify the body, a male in his 30s, whose description is consistent with Pasco s identity. 
Pasco was reported missing from his group in the early morning on June 24. Sheriff s deputies began a search for the man, who his friends believed went into the water, but they were unable to find him. The San Mateo County Harbor District and a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter aided in the search, which was called off that afternoon. ....

CERT delivered communications during evacuation


Last week’s mudslide evacuation marked the first-ever activation of the Community Emergency Response Team as part of a new collaboration between the volunteer group and the San Mateo County’s Emergency Operations Center. 
During the evacuation warning issued on Jan. 25, CERT volunteers from across the Coastside provided on-the-ground communication for residents in the southern part of San Mateo County, the same area evacuated last summer during the August CZU Lightning Complex fires. 
Volunteers knocked on doors, posted flyers about the area’s mudslide risk and radioed in updates that worked their way up to the county’s emergency operations center in Redwood City.  ....

Woman's Body Found Along San Mateo County Coast

A woman s body was found Saturday morning at a San Mateo County beach south of Half Moon Bay, the sheriff s office said.
The body, described as an Asian woman, was discovered about 9 a.m. at Tunitas Creek Beach, located along a stretch of coastline between Half Moon Bay and Pescadero.
The body of an Asian female was found at #TunitasCreek around 9AM.
The #SanMateoCountyCoroner’s Office is working on identifying this woman & any other potential information.
