COVID-19 vaccine clinic at St. Hedwig Memorial Center relocates


ST JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – The Saint Joseph County Department of Health’s COVID-19 vaccine clinic at St. Hedwig Memorial Center will close on Wednesday. The clinic will re-locate to the main lobby of the County-City Building at 227 West Jefferson Blvd. in South Bend.
Hours for the COVID-19 vaccine clinic in County-City Building are as follows:
• Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Those who received the first dose of the vaccine at St. Hedwig Memorial Center may receive their second dose at the new location.
Individuals who wish to be vaccinated may schedule their appointment here, or call the St. Joseph County Public Library at (574) 282-4646 for assistance. ....

In response to a COVID-19 outbreak on a university campus in August 2020, rapid implementation of multiple measures, including aggressive testing, tracing, and isolation; enhanced data systems; and communication focused on adherence to mitigation strategies, resulted in a rapid decrease in new cases and allowed in-person learning to resume.
