Ekiti Communities Agog as Foremost Educationist, Chief Bayode, Goes Home

The funeral rites for foremost educationist and former Principal of Christ’s School, Ado-Ekiti, Chief Olusola Bayode, would commence today in Ado-Ekiti, the deceased’s family has announced.
Chief Bayode, former President, All Nigeria Conference of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPSS), Ondo State, passed on in January. He was 82. He was also the founding principal of Aisegba Community Grammar School, Aisegba-Ekiti.
Until his death, Chief Bayode was a dedicated and active member of the Christ’s School, Ado-Ekiti Alumni Association.
Spokesman for the family, Mr Morakinyo Bayode, a United Kingdom-based architect, said the week-long chain of events, jointly put together by the Bayode family as well as the alumni associations of the two schools, would kick off on Monday (today) with a special commendation service at Aisegba Community Grammar School, Aisegba-Ekiti. ....

When Adele Rae and her husband decided to stop in Sarina for the night, they had no idea their stay would be permanent.
Originally from Armidale, NSW, the couple had taken time off from their jobs to travel the Queensland coast.
They were on their way back to Armidale when they decided to take a break in Sarina.
âWe first called into Sarina Beach. We thought there was still a caravan park out there, but when we got out there we were told there wasnât,â Mrs Rae said.
âThe next turn to the left was Armstrong Beach, so we booked into the caravan park there for a night. ....
