There are just a few sculptures at Lake Loveland s South Shore Parkway, and in the spring of 2021, a new one will grace the area.
As someone who grew up in, and lives in, Loveland, I take a special interest in the city and our art.
The City of Loveland s Art in Public Places announced that the newly donated, painted aluminum sculpture,
Two Minds Meeting sculpture will be installed in early April.
The sculpture was created by Melanie Yazzie, a Native American Professor of Printmaking at the University of Colorado Boulder.
Yazzie says that Two Minds Meeting represents communication and coming together. That sounds like a piece of art that every city and town could use these days. ....
