Mooloolaba will kick off the season after the opening round of the series on the Gold Coast was cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak in Brisbane last month.
Club president Allan Rasmussen said the last time they hosted a meet in Mooloolaba waters was March last year before the pandemic took hold.
“I’m pretty excited and we’ve got some good numbers coming,” he said
“It means a lot to the club, obviously we didn’t have any income coming in last year due to Covid so it’s certainly going to help
“It’s what everybody has been looking forward to for quite a while. ....
