Opinion: Chambers of commerce oppose Coastal Commission's plan for Ocean Dunes


–The South County Chambers of Commerce on Friday wrote a letter to the California Coastal Commission asking for a new economic analysis of the Ocean Dunes impact on the local economy and regional representation on the commission. The Coastal Commission is March 18 and is expected to vote to phase out off-road vehicles on the dunes.

ACCESSIBLE Little pantries like this one popped up in San Luis Obispo neighborhoods during the pandemic as a way to help those in need get access to food.
Similar to the little library concept, little free pantries aren t unique to the city of San Luis Obispo. Arkansas resident Jessica McClard is credited with the first recorded mini pantry movement. She set up a wooden box on a post that contained food, personal care, and paper items for anyone in the community to access. As a platform for neighbors to help neighbors, the pantries goal is to combat food insecurity on a micro-level. ....
