Updated: 5:45 AM EST Feb 5, 2021 A 19-year-old man will stay in jail while facing murder charges in a deadly Greenville County shootout. A judge denied him bond late Thursday. Deputies charged Joe Timothy Raines in the Jan. 12 shooting that left Andrew Wray, 17, and Wilmont Burroughs III, 38, dead at a home on South Buncombe Road near Greer, according to Lt. Ryan Flood with the Greenville County Sheriff s Office. Flood said the 19-year-old is charged with two counts of murder among other charges. Investigators said Wray had gone over to Raines’ home earlier that evening and the two knew each other.Investigators believe Raines believed Wray stole something from him before leaving. Following Wray’s departure, Raines got into a vehicle with Burroughs to pursue Wray, investigators said.
