Train Services To Resume Partially From February 22

Srinagar- The train services are all set to resume partially from February 22 onwards in Kashmir, officials said on Wednesday.
The officials said that Chief Area Manager Northern Railway Srinagar has written a communication to SSP/GRP/ Srinagar, clearly mentioning that the train services are to be partially restored in Banihal-Baramulla section from February 22. The Chief Area Manager is learnt to have sought comments from the SSP if his office has any objections in restarting the passenger services between Banihal-Baramulla section. The response has been sought on urgent basis, they added. ....

Train Service in Kashmir Likely to Resume after Feb 17

Srinagar: After remaining suspended for over ten months due to outbreak of coronavirus pandemic, the railway service in Jammu and Kashmir is likely to resume operations from February 17, reports said Friday.
According to the reports, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir P K pole has written a letter to Chief Area Manager, Northern Railways Srinagar and requested him to resume train services from Banihal to Baramulla from February 17.
This is with regard to my telephonic discussion with you over the subject matter. You are requested to make the necessary preparations for resuming train services tentatively from 17th February onwards daily, at least 3 to 5 rounds may be started at an initial stage, reads the letter. ....
