Two Bahraini engineers help construct and design Emirati mini-satellite 'DhabiSat' | THE DAILY TRIBUNE

Two members of the Bahrain Space Team of the National Space Science Authority (NSSA) have participated in the construction and designing of the Emirati mini-satellite “DhabiSat”, which was launched on February 20, from the Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia, US and arrived at the International Space Station (ISS).
The launch marked another milestone in the UAE’s space journey.
Less than two weeks ago, the Emirates made history when its Hope probe successfully entered the orbit of Mars to begin a two-year data-collecting mission. The miniature satellite DhabiSat is the second CubeSat designed and developed by students from Khalifa University of Science and Technology in Abu Dhabi with the support of the Yahsat Satellite Communications Company, “Yahsat” and Northrop Grumman International. ....

Bahrain took part in the United Nations’ celebrations of the International Day of Education yesterday by highlighting its achievements in providing quality education for all.
The world marks the occasion on 24th January of each year.

Four Bahrain students to participate in International Space Camp | THE DAILY TRIBUNE

Under the patronage of Transportation and Telecommunications Minister, Chairman of Directors’ Board of National Space Science Authority (NSSA) Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, NSSA announced the list of four students who were selected to represent Bahrain in the International Space Camp, which will be held in the state of Alabama, US, during the summer of 2021.
This came within the framework of the efforts made by NSSA to achieve its vision set by His Majesty the King, to place the Kingdom in the ranks of advanced countries in the field of space.
The students were chosen after reviewing their academic performance and following the criteria set by the Kalman International Foundation. The  selected students are Amna Al Busmait from Al Estiqlal Secondary School for Girls, Reem Al Hamar from Al-Iman Private School, Menwa Al Muqahwi from Al Hidd Secondary School for Girls, and Nawaf Abdul Rahman from  Hamad Town Secondary School for ....
