The World Cancer Prevention Organization recommends that each person should not consume more than 70 grams of meat per day, but Vietnamese on average consume 134 grams of meat a day.

​​​​​​​WITH the number of children born with spina bifida and hydrocephalus in the country keeps increasing, experts stress the need for women planning to become pregnant to take folic acid and eat foods which are high in folate three months before they conceive.
Promoting folic acid as food fortification or as a supplement has been cited as among effective means of protection against the rare diseases. The number of children born with diseases is increasing in both Tanzania mainland and Zanzibar. At least 3 out of 100 or 1,000 children are born with the disorders. ....
