Havana, Dec 28 (Prensa Latina) Due to the increase in imported Covid-19 cases involving Cuban citizens arriving from the United States, Mexico and Panama, health and airport authorities informed on Monday about a reduction in arrivals from those destinations.
The measure aims to reduce the number of travelers, also from Haiti, the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas, National Epidemiology Director Francisco Duran said at a press conference.
This way, Cuban Civil Aeronautics authorities are readjusting the necessary details with foreign airlines to make the new measure effective on January 1, 2021. ....

Havana, Dec 19 (Prensa Latina) Cuban authorities have insisted on complying with health measures to prevent contagions with Covid-19, above all after an increase in autochthonous cases, many of whom are related to international travelers.
The recent meeting of the government group to confront the health emergency, chaired by President Miguel Diaz-Canel, made emphasis on the urgency to comply with such measures, especially by those who return from abroad and their relatives.
At the meeting, held in Havana, Public Health Minister Jose Angel Portal said that most imported cases come from the United States, as it is the major traveler-sending country, although it also involves travelers from Mexico, Panama, Haiti and Spain. ....
