Ljubljana – The National Review Commission has rejected requests for a revision of the selection of Slovakia’s Skytoll for an e-tolling system for cars in Slovenia, which had been filed by both losing bidders.
Skytoll was picked by the motorway company DARS in January over Slovenian telecoms company Iskratel, which submitted a joint offer with Hungary’s ARH Informatics, and Slovenian IT firm Marand, which had a joint bid with the state-owned postal and telecoms operators and Austrian firm Kapsch.
Skytoll’s offer, at EUR 15.7 million excluding VAT, was slightly higher than Iskratel’s and under half the offer submitted by the Marand consortium. The rival bids were deemed inadmissible. ....

All Koper-Divača review procedures complete as Strabag's appeal rejected

Ljubljana – The National Review Commission has rejected the appeal by the Austrian builder Strabag against the decision by the state-owned company 2TDK to pick a Slovenian-headed consortium as the contractor for the DivaÄa-Ärni Kal section of the new railway to the port of Koper. This ends all review procedures related to the project.
Strabag appealed in late March the decision by 2TDK to entrust the section to Kolektor CPG in partnership with the Turkish companies Yapi Merkezi and Ãzaltin as the cheapest bidder.
The cost of the section was capped at EUR 472 million. The Kolektor CPG-led consortium offered to build it for EUR 403.6 million, while Strabag submitted a EUR 463.5 million bid in partnership with the German company Ed ZÃ¼blin and Turkish GÃ¼lermak Agir. ....

Ljubljana – Two contractors have submitted financial offers for the first part of main works on the DivaÄa-Koper rail section. A consortium led by Slovenian builder Kolektor CPG values the works at EUR 403.6 million, while the offer by Austrian builder Strabag and its consortium is EUR 463.5 million.
Both bids are below the ceiling price of EUR 472 million and therefore valid. The price excludes value added tax, 2TDK, the company managing the rail project, said in a press release on Thursday. 2TDK expects it will now take ten days to review the bids. ....
