Walk in Covid vaccination clinics at Station Drive surgery in Ludlow

A GP surgery in Ludlow has started to offer clinics that enable people who have not had a Covid-19 vaccination but have changed their minds to get protected.
Everyone over the age of 40 who does not have a medical reason for not having a vaccination should by now have been offered one.
However, there will be a small number of people who have slipped through the net.
These could be people who were unwell when offered a first vaccination or for whatever reason decided to decline but have now changed their minds.
Station Drive Surgery is running first AstraZeneca clinics for anyone aged over 40 who has not yet been vaccinated. ....

Covid volunteers in Ludlow and Church Stretton helping to keep the jabs coming

VOLUNTEERS are making a difference and helping people in Ludlow and south Shropshire to get vaccinated.
They have been helping medical teams at vaccination centres in Ludlow at the Mascall Centre, at Ludlow racecourse and also in Church Stretton, where there is a vaccination hub.
Angie Walshaw, 57, lives a stone’s throw away from Church Stretton Medical Practice, which is one of several GP-led vaccination hubs across the county.
She is no stranger to volunteering, even running a local meals-on-wheels service for residents on Christmas Day.
“I have been volunteering throughout the pandemic, I volunteer with the Mayfair Centre next door and have been doing a meals-on-wheels service for residents who need it,” she said. ....
