It has moved. The new location is 2025 E. Chestnut Expressway, which is at the intersection of East Chestnut Expressway and East Pythian Street. It s in a large building suites C and D, facing Pythian called Chestnut Corners. When I went there Monday to take a photo there was a notice on the door announcing auditions tonight 6:30 p.m. for Desperate Measures, a musical comedy. ....

Usually, there s not much to see: Lines of rowhouses. One or two abandoned, boarded-up properties. A few cars. Some trash, dumped illegally. A giant black panther. Wait. It was. It is. Invincible Cat, by husband-and-wife artists Don Kennell and Lisa Adler, is 15,000 pounds of what used to be car hoods (56 of them, to be exact). And it s keeping watch on this vacant lot tucked inside a neighborhood along the Hi-Speedline not only to entertain riders, but also to call attention to a serious problem plaguing the City of Camden: illegal dumping and pollution. ....

SALEM For 76 years, Superior Paint and Wallpaper has been a staple for contractors and do-it-yourself homeowners in Salem. But at the end of the month, the second oldest retail store in Salem will close its doors for good. Bill Allison bought the store that its on the corner of Pershing Street in the heart of Salem from the Lepping family in 1995 after working there for 21 years. He came into the business after serving in the Army with the plan of taking over the store from the original owners who did not have anyone to pass it onto. Now, Allison faces the same dilemma and has decided to say goodbye to the store and begin his well-earned retirement. ....

SALEM A strip of land stretching from State Street to Pershing Street along Park Drive, leading into Centennial Park, will become a place where residents can sit and remember loved ones lost. To be known as The Garden of Memories by Stark Memorial, the park land will be transformed gradually with annual donations of trees, benches or other items by the funeral home in memory of the people who have passed on. ....
