New Delhi, May 5 : Twelve ad hoc teachers' services have been terminated in Delhi University's Vivekanand College, according to a teachers' organisation. This action has been condemned by the Delhi University Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Other Backward Class Teachers' Forum.
According to the DU SC/ST/OBC Teachers' Forum, of the 12 ad hoc teachers, five have tested positive for Covid-19. The overall condition of teachers suffering from the infection is quite bad. Their families have been struggling with a financial crisis while they have been terminated.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Tuesday announced the postponement of the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) May session due to the present situation of Covid-19 pandemic in the country. The JEE Main May session was scheduled to be commenced on May 24, however, the exams have now been put off indefinitely.

New Delhi (India) April 15 (ANI): Various Urdu publications in Delhi gave prominent coverage to the news of CBSE Board Exams for Class 10th being cancelled and 12th exams being postponed after a high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Most publications have also highlighted that that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and former Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav have tested positive for COVID-19.
Rashtriya Sahara: The newspaper leads with the report on CBSE Board Exams for Class 10th being cancelled and 12th exams being postponed. The Union Ministry of Education on Wednesday took the decision of cancelling the examination in a high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal said that the decision was made due to a spike in coronavirus cases.

New Delhi [India], April 14 (ANI): DelhiChief MinisterArvind Kejriwal on Wednesday welcomed the Central government's decision to cancel or postpone the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board exams amid the COVID-19 pandemic and called it a "great relief" for lakhs of students and their parents.
"I am glad that the exams have been cancelled/postponed. This is a great relief for lakhs of students and their parents," tweeted Arvind Kejriwal.
Board Exams for Class 10th have been cancelled and 12th exams have been postponed, said the Union Ministry of Education on Wednesday after a high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

New Delhi: Board Exams for Class 10th have been cancelled and 12th exams have been postponed, said the Union Ministry of Education on Wednesday after a high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“Results of Class 10th will be prepared on the basis of an objective criterion to be developed by the Board. Class 12th exams will be held later, the situation will be reviewed on 1st June by the Board,” it added.
