Preston Hollow: Two luxury town house parcels under contract at The District | Jax Daily Record | Jacksonville Daily Record

Owners of the 32-acre mixed-use Southbank project The District said two parcels designated for luxury town houses are under contract for sale.
Ramiro Albarran, Preston Hollow Capital LLC managing director of origination and structuring, told the Downtown Development Review Board on May 13 that the company executed a deal for the parcels, which face a marsh on the site’s southeast corner.
Albarran said Dallas-based Preston Hollow is under a confidentiality agreement and did not disclose the buyer.
The District project engineer, Bill Schilling of Kimley-Horn and Associates Inc., said the parcels will be developed by “a luxury, high-end homebuilder.”

Related Group submitted designs to the city for the restaurant it agreed to build as part of its $99.16 million apartment community on the Downtown Jacksonville Southbank.
The Miami-based developer seeks conceptual approval for the restaurant design and final approval for the RD River City Brewery apartments at the May 13 Downtown Development Review Board meeting.
The 327-unit multifamily project and restaurant would replace River City Brewing Co. at 835 Museum Circle, west of Friendship Park.

A DDRB staff report and renderings released May 6 show a restaurant with 3,200 square feet of outdoor dining space, a 914-square-foot indoor dining area and 883 square feet for kitchen and storage. That totals 4,997 square feet. ....
