SAN ANTONIO Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is calling for the removal of San Antonio police chief William McManus over his handling of a 2017 incident, court documents revealed.
The state argues that because McManus allegedly violated the provisions of Senate Bill 4 in 2017, he effectively forfeited his office. The filing states they are calling for McManus’ removal because state law demands it.” ....
