Amanda Lee promoted to Vista assistant city manager

Amanda Lee, who has worked for the city of Vista since 2013, has been promoted to assistant city manager.
“Amanda has proven herself more than capable of handling responsibilities and oversight of complex projects in the past, and I am confident she will handle the challenges that come with this new position,” Vista City Manager Patrick Johnson said.
Lee most recently served as assistant to the city manager and will fill the position left vacant in November by Aly Zimmermann, who took a job as city manager of Rocklin in northern California.
She began working for the city of Vista as the assistant city clerk in 2013 and transitioned to Redevelopment and Housing as a management analyst. In 2016, Lee became the city’s housing programs manager and was promoted to assistant to the city manager in 2019. ....

City of Coronado appoints new assistant city manager

The City of Coronado announced Tuesday the appointment of Dominique Albrecht as assistant city manager.
Albrecht, 34, of San Diego, is beginning her new role after predecessor Tom Ritter retired in July 2019 after a 32-year career in local government. She most recently served as interim Administrative Services director, as well as the assistant to City Manager Blair King.
“I’m pleased that our new assistant city manager has been actively involved with many aspects of the day-to-day operations of the city,” said King in a prepared statement. “Dominique has been instrumental in the management of special projects, code compliance issues, economic development, labor negotiations, legislative program, grant administration, including an overhaul of the city’s community grant program. Her hard work and experience will serve the city well.” ....
