Town s reserves are in action against Leicester City at the Walkers Stadium this evening(KO 7pm). Striker Alun Armstrong is likely to be the only senior player included in Steve McCall s side.
Keeper Lewis Price is away with the Wales U21 aquad, so Shane Supple is likely to feature in goal.
Central defender Aidan Collins is away with the England U18s and recent reserves debutant Owen Garvan is in an Ireland U16 party.

Town s second string were defeated 3-0 by Leicester City at the Walkers Stadium on Tuesday night. Striker Alun Armstrong was the only senior player in a very young reserves side.
Leicester went ahead in the first half through Frenchman Lilian Nalis. Dominic Pearmain added to their lead in the second period before a Trevor Benjamin penalty sealed the Foxes victory.

Duo Set to Revive Partnership at Leicester

Ívar Ingimarsson and Ibrahima Sonko look set to revive their central defensive partnership from their days at Reading when the Blues take on Leicester at the King Power Stadium on Boxing Day (KO 3pm). Town boss Paul Jewell is forced into the change with Danny Collins having returned to Stoke at the end of his loan.
The Blues manager says he has three options, Ingimarsson, Damien Delaney and Tommy Smith, none of whom have played much first team football in recent weeks.
In addition to his experience of playing alongside Sonko, the Icelander has been involved more often than the other two alternatives of late with his last game the 4-0 defeat at Burnley at the end of November and it seems likely that he’ll get the nod. ....
