A talented group of Spelman College students won the first annual Goldman Sachs Market Madness case competition.
The competition, which is in its inaugural year, was the culmination of a four-month class in finance fundamentals offered to 125 HBCU first- and second-year college students. Scott, the Baltimore City Health Department, the Mayor’s Office of Employment Development, The Rockefeller Foundation, HealthCare Access Maryland, Jhpiego, Baltimore Corps, the Baltimore Civic Fund, and other partners announced the findings of the Baltimore Health Corps Pilot’s Early Lessons Report, completed by the University of Maryland.
