Paris (CNSNews.com) – French police unions are planning demonstrations to protest a decision by President Emmanuel Macron to launch an online “platform” enabling citizens to report inappropriate behavior by police particularly when dealing with ethnic minorities.
The unions are angry about Macron’s assertion that police forces sometimes respond too harshly to street protests that have been taking place most weekends for the last two years.
Unhappiness among police erupted in early December after Macron raised the issue during an interview with the online media company Brut. ....
