LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. â The Fort Collins Police Department arrested a 42-year-old man who allegedly sexually assaulted a young teenager he met online.
The police department said Nathaniel Strauss started to talk with a teenager through a social meetup app and told the teen he was 28 years old. The two arranged to meet multiple times and engaged in sexual activity, police said.
The teen s parents called police after learning about the interactions.
As police began investigating, they were able to identify the suspect as Strauss, who is a registered sex offender, and he was arrested. ....

A 42-year-old registered sex offender was recently arrested by Fort Collins Police, after sexually assaulting a teen he met over the internet.
During their investigation, Fort Collins Police learned that 42-year-old Nathaniel Strauss initiated a conversation with the victim through a social meetup app. Strauss lied to the victim, saying he was only 28-years-old.
According to police, the two arranged to meet on several different occasions, during which they engaged in sexual activity.

FORT COLLINS, Colo. A 42-year-old registered sex offender has been arrested and is accused of sexually assaulting a young teen he met online, according to Fort Collins Police Services (FCPS).
Detectives determined that Nathaniel Strauss initiated conversation with the victim through a social meetup app and told the victim he was 28, FCPS said.
