The Big Pineapple train has been derailed and has crashed into a fence after a man allegedly took the Coast icon on a drunken joy ride.
Police charged a 22-year-old Mount Coolum man after he allegedly derailed the famous train and four of its carriages on Saturday.
It s understood the loco was in its storage tunnel at the Nambour site when a group of people allegedly decided to embark on the illegal journey about 2.30pm.

A teenager who used social media to sell marijuana while homeless will learn his fate on Friday.
The now 19-year-old pleaded guilty in Maroochydore District Court on Tuesday trafficking marijuana after being caught selling the drug 178 times in the Nambour area.
The court heard the teen had 35g of marijuana in his car when police stopped him for a random drug and alcohol breath test on June 13, last year.
He also handed over his mobile phone to police who discovered text messages between the offender and his customers indicating cost and amounts to be purchased.
Crown prosecutor Christopher Cook said the teen would meet up with his clients across the Nambour area between January and June last year. ....

A man has been stabbed in the head after interrupting a burglar trying to break into his Sunshine Coast unit.
The man arrived at his townhouse on Mary Street, Nambour, just after 7pm on Saturday and disturbed a man who was trying to break in.
Police said the men fought and the 53-year-old resident was stabbed in the head and arm before his assailant fled.
Critical care paramedics treated the man at the scene before taking him to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious but non-life-threatening condition. ....

A man was stabbed in the head on Saturday night after a burglar broke into his Nambour unit.
Police say the Mary Street resident disturbed a man breaking into his unit just after 7pm.
A scuffle ensued which resulted in the 53-year-old man sustaining a stab wound to his head and upper arm.
Paramedics, including critical care, treated the man for his non-life-threatening injuries.
He was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.
Anyone who may have witnessed or heard any suspicious behaviour in the area about 7pm is asked to contact police. ....
