TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - Governor Doug Ducey is searching for the next group of young adults to join the Governor’s Youth Commission.
According to a news release, high school students from across Arizona are brought together through the GYC to identify and address the greatest challenges facing Arizona’s youth by developing innovative community impact projects, establishing partnerships with young leaders across the state, and advising the Governor.
The GYC has five workgroups that focus on the following issues: distracted driving, domestic violence, education mental health, and substance abuse. ....
