State police trooper assaulted by Boston man during traffic stop, officials say

A Massachusetts State Police trooper was violently assaulted by a driver he pulled over on a highway for speeding, according to state police officials.
The MSP says the suspect, 29-year-old Devin Fuller, of Boston, punched the trooper in the face, pushed the trooper s head into the pavement and choked him while they were fighting on the ground and pushed the trooper into the middle of the highway once they were back on their feet.Sign up for our Newsletters
State police say the incident began shortly before 2:30 a.m. on Saturday when the trooper, who has not been identified, clocked Fuller driving a purple Dodge Charger at 81 mph in a 55-mph zone for at least one mile on Interstate 93 south in Randolph. ....
