HUNDREDS of children are going to wake up on Christmas Day with a present thanks to the generosity of everyone in Wiltshire who responded to the Salvation Army’s annual Christmas Toy Appeal which has been supported by the Gazette and Herald.
Around 3,000 toys and other gifts have been donated this year.
Thanks to the appeal, hundreds of toys, games and books have been distributed to families in need in whose children would otherwise wake up to no gifts under the tree on Christmas Day.
Each year the Salvation Army collects donated new toys for children from birth to aged 16. ....
