Ben Katzman, aged 32, from Virginia, swam laps that totalled 5.35 miles (8.6 kilometres) for the record. Wearing handcuffs, he swam the length of the pool at the King George YMCA 344 times. The existing record for the farthest swim wearing handcuffs was set by Elham Sadat Asghari in 2019. He swam 3.41 miles. ....

Nagaraj Kharvi, who works as a teacher at Kalmanja Government Higher Primary School in Bantwal taluk, completed the one-kilometre distance in 25 minutes and 16 seconds (25:16:63). He started swimming at 8:55 am and completed it at 9:20 am. He used the breaststroke style in the Padmasana posture to swim in the Arabian Sea. ....
