The Goon Sax return from a three year hiatus with another unapologetically catchy single and news of their third album Mirror II, their first release since signing to Matador Records. In The Stone was written around the time vocalist Louis Forster moved to Berlin after recording the Brisbane band s last album We re Not Talking, and he attributes the track s pop overtones to what was playing in the background of our conversations which often took place in Ubers, supermarkets, outside parties .
