Drama Kids to present performances

Drama Kids of Southeastern MA will present their spring performance at The Borden Colony Gazebo, 2254 King Philip St., Raynham, on May 22, featuring local Easton talent ages 5 to 13.
The Senior Acting Academy will take the stage at Queset Garden on May 27. The Senior Acting Academy is a group of high school performers that will perform “Law and Order: Fairy Tale Unit.” Three graduating seniors will participate: Jordan Fayne, Maddie Sant and Alex Burnham.
“We feel that students who’ve continued in our program have had the opportunity to stay social, creative, and communicative in a world where so much of this was taken away,” said Drama Kids Director Heather Dunham. “We’ve continued to use group work, collaboration, problem solving, creativity and so much more on stage giving our Drama Kids a dramatic advantage! We were able to adapt and stay safe while continuing something amazing.”

“Eight months ago, [Hill] came to me about that record by Miser [2006 s
Colors], which he’s managed,” Sanders says. “I had been thinking about taking the NTX Vinyl shop and doing a little label side of it as well, but I didn t really know what that was going to be.”
After talking the idea over with their friends, Sanders and Hill decided that if they could do the Miser record, they could also go through the same process for other bands from that period in Dallas music history. The micro-independent label NTX Records was born.
