NATCHITOCHES, La. (KSLA) A water emergency will be declared Sunday evening in Natchitoches, the city reports.
And the city announced Sunday evening that a water filling station has been opened at Church Street at Third Street in Natchitoches for customers who have no water. Residents must provide their own containers. The water is being made available through a source provided by the city’s Utility Department in the Natchitoches Police Jury parking lot. ....

NATCHITOCHES, La. (KSLA) Natchitoches leaders today restricted some non-essential uses of water as the city works to restore service to all of its customers in the wake of back-to-back winter storms.
The goal is to help ensure there is sufficient water available for fire protections and to meet basic needs such as cooking, cleaning, bathing and toilet flushing, says a notice from the city. ....
