Nashville reports 108 new cases, no new deaths in past 72 hours
The Nashville Metro Public Health Department reported 108 new coronavirus cases in the past 72 hours Monday, including both probable and confirmed cases. 
No new deaths were reported in the last 72 hours. So far, 919 people in Davidson County have died of COVID-19, including both confirmed and probable cases.
MNPD reported 832 active cases in the county and total of 99,166 cases in Davidson County. Of those cases, 97,415 individuals are now considered inactive or recovered. ....

Nashville Zoo to offer COVID-19 vaccine to visitors
People can receive vaccines at the Zoo’s Entry Village between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Guests and staff can attend the vaccination event to receive the Pfizer vaccine and the single-dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine. Those who get the Pfizer vaccine are encouraged to come back to the Zoo on June 13th to receive their second shot.
Zoo officials and the Metro Public Health Department came together, hoping the event will increase availability to zoo visitors.
“It is in an area… Right there off of Nolensville Road that is an area we have been trying to reach and have worked with different faith-based organizations and other community partners to try to get it in as many as many arms as possible,” Director of Communications for the Metro Public Health Department said. “We are just looking for all different ways that we can reach out to the community.” ....

COVID-19 Update: Active Cases, Hospitalizations Continue to Drop

The Tennessee Department of Health has now reported a total of 859,701 cases of COVID-19 across the state, up 420 cases on Thursday from 13,909 new test results a 3.7 percent positivity rate.
Of the total number of cases, 12,364 people have died with 11 new deaths reported in the past 24 hours.
The number of active cases has fallen 26 percent in the past two weeks, with state health officials reporting that 6,744 individuals are currently infected with the coronavirus, the lowest level since June of last year.
The number of patients hospitalized within the state has decreased 23 percent in two weeks, with 554 people now being treated for illness caused by the virus. In terms of capacity, the state reports that 13 percent of inpatient beds and 12 percent of ICU beds remain available. Nearly 78 percent of the state s ventilator supply is still av ....
